Jeff Ching Daily Shad Report
Run Total: 441
Today was the first day wading in weeks. I tried the Glenn Hall area early this morning. I was the only one fishing and didn’t get anything. I then did a drive by at Gristmill and there was no one fishing there or at Harrington. I then fished River Bend for nada and ended up at Lower Sunrise. There were a lot of bobber guys on the bike bridge and both banks. I got one swinging Lower Sunrise. There was a two handed angler fishing there who said he had done ok in that area before the flow dropped.
In the afternoon I wet waded one of my favorite runs in the upper river but there were 4 bobber guys casting all the way across the river so I fished above them. I got 3 swinging a Blue Hawaii while I saw only one caught between the 4 bobber guys. Bill Quinn floated by on his way to the take out and he told me he did well in a hole up river nymphing some olive Rain Drops that I had given him.
