The midge hatch at Lake Almanor is beginning to start. Fished with guide, Mark Antamarian, this week and found browns and rainbows feeding in waters 15-22 feet. The changing weather Thursday and Friday slowed down activity, however, the warming temperatures this coming week should kick things back into gear.
