Jeff Ching Daily Shad Report

Got out a little later than usual this morning and Capt. Andy (with clients) and Bill Quinn (and friend) were anchored in one of my favorite holes. They were swinging up shad and I couldn’t get into a good position so I ended up heading down river. I ended up sharing a run with Andy and I think we didn’t let any shad pass us while we were anchored next to each other.

Andy took his clients back up river to the put-in and Greg Hogg stopped by in his power drifter to chat. Andy ended up coming back down after dropping his clients off to fish himself.

I headed down and make one last stop in a tailout where I picked up a few. While I was there Jeff Morin cruised up in his jet boat and headed up to where Andy was anchored.

I caught all of my fish on an olive Rain Drop except for one on a Cherry Bomb.
