Another solo float today. There were 5 other boats (Bill Quinn, Andy Guibord, Ethan Hunt, Gregg Hogg and Andrew Foster). The flow dropped again to 2000 cfs so swinging was tough. I stuck with swinging but changed up my gear (25 ft of T-8 and 10 ft Type 8). Everyone else was indicator fishing which was definitely more effective in the lower flow. The flow is going down to 1500 cfs Sat morning which going to make swinging suck.

On my way to the take-out, I ran into a kid that I know named Y fishing a run by himself. He was using a two- handed rod swinging a Lipstick and was hooking shad. I gave him some of my flies and I’m glad to see a youngster so stoked on fly fishing.
