Solo float today and there were 6 boats already out before me. Two of them were Jon Hubbard and Toby Uppinghouse. I saw Jon’s client hook a lot of fish nymphing Jon’s version of my Blue Hawaii.

I had a rough start not getting a single bump for the first 2 hours. After I got to one of my usual spots I started getting them here and there and got into double digits by mid-Day. I could see shad swimming around my boat but they had lock jaw.

The floats are dropping to 1500 cfs tomorrow morning and then to 1100 cfs Wednesday morning. This is going to change things up!
